Basil Karlo is being transported to the asylum when the ambulance crashes and he escapes. He once again dons the guise of Clayface, and is sure to attack Portia. Sure enough, he attacks, but Batman and Robin had already guessed his plan, and had Portia and Robin swap places, Robin wearing her cloak, and she wearing one of his spare costumes. Clayface seems to have killed 'Portia', but Robin was armored under the cloak, and Clayface is captured without incident.
