Clark is called up to help ferret out fifth column activity. But then he's framed as a fifth-columnist and a murder, himself. As Superman, he discovers a base of spies and fifth-columnists, filled with weapons, ammunition, and airplanes, and destroys it. He acquires documents proving his innocence, and returns triumphant.
