Doctor Light advertises for some villains to help him out, forming a new group, The Fearsome Five. He's joined by Mammoth, Shimmer, Gizmo, and Psimon.

However, it's really Psimon pulling the strings. Just yesterday, he was a physicist named Simon Jones, but he bumped into Trigon and gained psionic powers and insanity. Now he intends to have the Teen Titans fight the Justice League, and he arranges it by both controlling the Fearsome Five and planting suggestions in Raven's mind.

The Titans fight the Five, but lose quickly. Raven, who stayed behind, must now visit the Justice League for help.
