Hey, Superman remembers the million he got back in Action Comics #11. I was right--it does come in handy.

Superman earns some easy money doing his usual thing, then collects gold from a sunken ship. This money, plus that he had previously, totaling $2 million, he gifts to Kidtown.

Zatara and the Ice Menace

A mad scientist holds the world ransom, melting icebergs to cause water levels to rise in order to extract a million dollars each from the coastal nations of the world. Zatara stops him, freezing him alive in a block of ice.
