diegetic computer interface

These are games in which the game interface is a computer interface that the player character is using, whether a whole desktop environment, like Secret Little Haven, or a single application, like Emily is Away.

Todo

Find a better single-application example. Emily is Away does simulate a single application, but it puts it in the context of a virtual desktop. There are other games that just simulate a single piece of fictional software without a desktop.

Not all games that look like standard application interfaces fall into this category. ะจะŸ is a puzzle game that uses a standard windows forms interface, but there is no player character who is using the application, just the player. There's no fictional interface that the actual interface represents. Kingsway is an RPG styled as a computer interface, but the interface is only for the player–the character in the game is not interacting with that interface.
