artillery game

These games take inspiration from the old mainframe game Artillery and its (often similarly-named) successors: the players aim an artillery shell at each other, or some other target, usually choosing the angle to fire at as well as the initial velocity. These differ from other types of shooting game in that they involve physical considerations (parabolic motion of the shell, interference from wind) and are typically turn-based.
