A Tiny Happenstance

Hori Kyouko is popular and fashionable when she's at school, but when she returns home, she dresses plainly and does housework, rather than going out like many students. She keeps this a secret, leaving her quick departures from school a mystery to her classmates.

One day, a boy with piercings and tattoos brings Hori's brother Souta home–and he turns out to be her classmate, Miyamura Izumi. In school, Izumi looks like a gloomy, glasses-wearing otaku, but, like Hori, that's not all he is. The two become friends, and so the story begins.
