The protagonist has now escaped from the Great Elroe Labyrinth. Hooray! But her mother, the Queen Taratect, destroys part of the Labyrinth in order to follow her and attack. She just barely manages to teleport away in time, but lands in a trap.
Escaping the trap, she gains enough experience to evolve once more. This time, she has only one option: Zana Horowa. She evolves and gains a new skill: Immortality. And good thing she does, too, because the Queen Taratect calls in reinforcements: the Demon Lord, a Lv. 139 origin taratect with stats near 100,000 and lots of maxed skills.
A single, casual attack from the Demon Lord totally obliterates the protagonist's body, but she eventually recovers–initially as just a head, floating in the ocean.
