Cutting a Gordian Knot: The Solution to Newcomb's Problem

Swain suggests that two-boxing is the only rational choice in Newcomb's problem, because (obviously!) the money either is already in the box, or it never will be. The bulk of the paper is an examination of three faulty lines of argument to which Swain attributes the decision to one-box.
