Quiz Bowl Antichrist

A fairly average story. The protagonist is rather unlikable, and we aren't really shown enough of the other characters to get to know them. And what's up with the protagonist knowing all the trivia about literature, apparently without actually reading much of it? You can get a lot through pop-cultural osmosis, sure, but I think it's stretching things a bit too far.
