Nightingale Woman

A sonnet sequence. Begins "My love has wings, slender, feathered things / With grace and upswept curve and tapered tip.", a reference to the poem written by Gene Roddenberry and quoted in Where No Man Has Gone Before.

A note on the publication of the poem:

(A slightly shorter version of this sonnet sequence won first prize in the 1974 EQUICON PHINEAS TARBOLDE contest, in the "phinish Phineas" division. The shorter version is scheduled to be published in an Equicon booklet. Yed)
