Okay, so... Batman decides that it's too dangerous for Dick to be Robin, so he kicks him out. Then, he meets a far younger Jason Todd and decides to make him Robin, instead. That makes sense.

Was Dick kicked out so he could star in Teen Titans? I can't recall what the reason was. Probably that. He then becomes Nightwing, right? Well, whatever.
