The Green Lantern

A man called 'the boss' is using radio advertisements for a fake brand of toothpaste to send coded instructions to his criminal underlings across the country. The man who used to read them over the radio wanted out, and was killed for his trouble. GL solves the case, and gets a job at that same radio station in the bargain.
